Residential New Build- Luxury Home

The Brief

Riddwood Consulting Engineers were appointed to provide the Horizontal and Structural design to a new 13.000 sq.ft luxury residence. The project involved the design of the entire new drainage system, foundations and all the structural members including a cranked steel roof frame.

The Solution

Riddwood Consulting Engineers approached the project with initial design meetings with the Homeowners and the Architects. From this point we had a clear objective of the "Project Deliverables" in the eyes of the Homeowner and we were able to collaborate with the Architect to provide enough load bearing structure throughout the home to support steel frame roof and precast concrete intermediate floors.

Following on from the Structural Design the drainage infrastructure was developed using a BioFicient sewage treatment plant to work with the surrounding environment of trees and foliage, thus providing an efficient design maximised field drainage lengths and minimised sewer lengths to less the environmental impact.
